This story is loosely based off of Dissidia Final Fantasy. I have not included many of the characters from it but have used the same basic "story". I do not own Final Fantasy and it is property of Square Enix.
Many hard-fought battles have taken place in the various worlds of Final Fantasy. The stories have been told and many think that they have ended peacefully, perhaps that the characters have been left to their devices and are peacefully among those that they love. Recently, however, that is not the case. A war is about to be waged between two powerful deities of opposing natures. Chaos, the demonic god of destruction, and Cosmos, the angelic goddess of all that is righteous. These two powerful beings have summoned the strongest warriors, reviving the dead and sending their warriors after one another to do battle once more.
Many of the warriors of the light have lost their edge in battle, having not been fighting for two years or more. They thought an era of peace had befallen them, but when the sky turned red and the face of a demon emerged to spew forth the wicked entities that had once plagued the worlds...they knew once more they would need to pick up their weapons. Cosmos has not yet appeared to greet those who she has called upon, but the time will soon come when all warriors must rise to the call of battle. Chaos is reigning supreme and even the monsters of the land are wreaking havoc, being posessed by the god of destruction himself.
For this wicked battleground, the two deities have called forth the worlds, meshing them together to create one giant world. One that contains the continents of each and every world. New islands that weren't there before are being discovered, though nobody has lived to get off of them and make a map of them. Perhaps one of these islands contains a great weapon or perhaps even a powerful summon. Only time will tell, and until then, the heroes of the worlds must regress, break past their capabilities and attain greater strength. For, to defeat Chaos...they must find the light and use it to their advantage.
